What is Clinique All About Eyes?

Clinique All About Eyes is an anti-aging cream that focuses on reducing the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles around the eyes.  It is a gel cream that claims to help hold makeup in place longer and preventing seeping and smudging.  It can be used morning and night, is ophthalmologist tested and safe for all skin types.

I am already a little discouraged as I research this product.  I know people seem to rave about Clinique but I’m looking for more than just good recommendations and a reputable brand when I choose my eye creams.  I’ll tell you why.

Eye cream is so vital when it comes to the health of our skin.  The skin around our eyes is 4 times thinner than the rest of the skin on our face.  This makes our delicate eye skin 4 times as susceptible to sun, environmental irritants, free radicals and the list goes on and on.  So it’s no wonder we notice the fine lines, wrinkles and sagging around our eyes before the rest of our face.  This is why our eye cream has to be a step up from your run of the mill daily face moisturizers.

Keep reading and I’ll tell you why this product doesn’t make the cut for me.

How Does Clinique All About Eyes Work?

Well, so far we know that Clinique All About Eyes claims to reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.  They also promise that their product will not seep and will help to hold your makeup in place.  So of course our next question is, “How do they do it?”  And the answer is….I don’t know!  This product does not list any ingredients.  So, as much as I would love to tell you what is in this product and why the ingredients are great for the eyes but I can’t.  It also does not explain how Clinique All About Eyes helps to keep our makeup in place.  Can you see why I’m a little discouraged?

Clinique All About Eyes Conclusion

First of all, Clinique All About Eyes is not made preservative free which is a must for me.  I do not want preservatives, parabens, or unnecessary ingredients anywhere near my eyes.  It does claim to be allergy tested and fragrance free, but I still don’t know what is in it.  Secondly, there is no ingredients list for this product.  I have no idea why Clinique wouldn’t list the ingredients on their website because so many people today do all of their shopping online.  Lastly, it claims to wear well under makeup and even hold it in place better but yet again, gives no explanation as to HOW.

So that leaves me to base my review off of customer reviews and a well known skin care brand and I just can’t do that.  This might be a great eye cream but due to lack of information I don’t feel comfortable recommending it.  Sorry folks!  For eye creams that I do feel comfortable recommending, click here.
