This cream is an anti-aging cream made by the MD Formulations team to combat the effects of aging that have to do with environmental stressors, loss of moisture and the loss of skin barrier protection. This cream uses antioxidants to help combat the breakdown of the cells that is caused by free radicals. Free radicals are harmful to the skin and will cause the skin to age much quicker. By adding antioxidants to your skin you are stabilizing free radical and making it so it won’t be able to do anymore damage. By doing this you make it possible to slow the aging down dramatically.

This formula is also extremely moisturizing and works to repair the skins barrier, which helps hold moisture in. By adding strength to the skin surface you are helping the skin become more replenished and appear smoother and more youthful.

Final Thoughts

This antioxidant skin care cream seems to be nothing over the top. There are a lot of skin care creams out there right now that are packed full of antioxidants and so the fact that this is one of its claims to fame doesn’t impress me much. It also doesn’t really impress me that is focuses much of its attention on the barrier lipid (or the surface of the skins barrier). I do know that the lipid barrier is an important part of the skins retention of moisture, but I also believe that the skin does a pretty good job at keeping the barrier strong on its own. I like products the foucus on the internal structure of the skin and the renewal of cells and the rate of their turnover. That is why I do like the fact that this product has lactic acid in it. This ingredient would be the only reason why I would buy or suggest this product to anyone.
