I looked and looked for the active ingredients that made this concentrate be able to do what it promises and sadly came up empty handed. I am very disappointed that they do not give a detailed list of their active ingredients; I would love to know what exactly they are using to stimulate genes within the skin.

Final Thoughts

I am a little torn on this Lancome product. I am impressed with the research that has gone into making this product and the direction they are heading in with focusing on the genes and improving the skin on a cellular level instead of just trying to hydrate the skin like products of the past. Where I am not impressed is in the fact that they do not explain their active ingredients and how they work and in many of the personal reviews and testimonials I have read. There are a lot of people complaining about irritated eyes, burning sensations, eye skin drying out and sometimes even cracking.  There were also some complaints about getting millia around the eye area from use of this eye concentrate. Millia is the small bumps that can appear under the eyes and like zits are caused by clogged pores.  I should mention that there are some people who do love this eye concentrate and have noticed improvement on their eye skins smoothness and a reduction in the dark circles that can be found under the eye area.

Overall, I don’t think this product is horrible but there are enough complaints and concerns that I would have to suggest that if you do decide that this is the eye treatment that you use should use this cream with caution. I personally would keep looking for something that has better reviews, a more specified active ingredient list and no concerns in irritation.
