What is Eve Lom Cleanser?

I can’t tell you how excited I am to review this product. As a facialist myself, it is exciting to see what this world renounced facialist thought would be important to give the public in a cleanser. I love the science aspect of facial care but sometimes the best products are those products that come from the people who are doing the dirty work every day and seeing what works, what doesn’t work and what their clients truly like and don’t like.  As I have started looking into this product I am impressed by the method used. It contains a blend of four aromatic oils used to cleanse, decongest and soothe the skin.  The texture of the cleanser is a cream texture with small exfoliating beads that help remove surface debris such as dead skin cells, make up, oils and pollutants. This Eve Lom cleanser has a white muslin cloth that comes with it to use as part of the cleansing system. This muslin cloth is meant to promote circulation, open the pores, cleanse, exfoliate, and tone the skin. Many times when we use our hands as our method of cleaning our faces we aren’t able to get a good connection and many times dirt, oil and make up can be left in our pores leaving us with dull skin and making it hard for our other products to soak into our skin and give us the maximum benefits that we could receive from the product.  Many people don’t realize just how important the cleansing of their face really is.

Eve Lom claims that by using this cleanser you will have “clean, perfectly balanced skin and a radiant complexion”.

Final Thoughts

This cleanser seems pretty nice. I love the idea of having the aromatherapy scents added to the cleanser for their aromatic benefits and their medicinal benefits. I love that this product is a cleanser with exfoliating beads and that this cleanser comes with a muslin cloth to get the maximum cleaning benefits because I truly believe that using hands alone doesn’t have the same cleansing power as the muslin cloth (or other cleansing devices for that matter) would. My only concerns lie in the price and if it is truly worth as much as it is being sold for. I think you can find great cleansers and great delivery systems (clothes, brushes, hand held devices) for less than or equal to what Eve Lom is asking for.
