They use the ancient therapeutic properties of aromatherapy to improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This specific oil, the Intensive Skin Treatment Oil Anti Age uses vitamin rich oils to ease extremely dry and uncomfortable aging skin. They say it is the perfect treatment to use on your skin after the effects of outdoor stresses like extreme wind, sunburns, and snow exposure.

They are much more mild and not as clinically proven then the ingredients that you would expect from a serum that offers the results that this oil offers. I know for people who want to treat their skin with more natural ingredients and from a more holistic approach this may be exactly what they are looking for and want out of a skin treatment.

Final Thoughts

I love the idea behind aromatherapy in some cases, but when it comes to anti aging and especially this specific anti aging oil I just don’t see the benefits. I do think this oil does sound like a product that you could use in place of or alongside your aloe vera for when your skin in wind burned or sunburned but as an anti aging product alone I just can’t see this oil doing as much as some of the scientifically proven and clinically acclaimed creams full of peptides, antioxidants, exfoliants and the collagen/elastin producing ingredients. I am also surprised that they suggest that you do a test area 24 hours prior to using the skin treatment oil, anything that needs a test area causes me alarm that this prodcut could cause irritation or burning. There are not enough reviews on this product for me to be able to see what the negavtive effects of this oil are, but on the same token, it also makes it hard for me to see if this cream is actually able to live up to its claims.

I think there are a lot of great moisturizing and anti-aging serums and creams out there that could give you better (and more proven) results and that you may want to keep looking.
